• YouTube Premium - Get YouTube Premium with add-free, offline and background play as well as access to YouTube Music Premium App - now inluded for the length of your plan.
• Spotify Premium - Listen to unlimited music and podcasts on mobile, tablet and laptop, with better sound quality and no ads. Plus, save your favourites to listen to offline.

Included in your Vodafone SIM only plan

• Vodafone are changing the number of Vodafone Pay monthly plans that include roaming in our Europe Zone, for our personal and business customers.

  If you're on a Pay monthly plan that started before 11 August 2021, there's no change to your plan or the way you roam, while you stay on that plan.

• If your Vodafone Pay monthly plan started before 11 August 2021: There will be no change to the way you roam as long as you stay on your current mobile plan, so you won’t need to pay any additional charges.

  If you joined Vodafone, upgrade or change your plan on or after 11 August 2021: If your plan doesn’t include roaming in Europe, there will be a daily charge for using your phone in our European roaming zones. View our roaming zone list to see which country is in which zone. These charges will only start on 31 January 2022 for personal and small business customers.

  This European roaming charge won’t apply to Xtra Airtime Plans with 4 Xtra benefits.

Vodafone 4G Network

Vodafone's 4G signal now covers over 90% of the UK, so you can go almost anywhere and be confident you can get a signal. And Vodafone have launched their 5G network, which Vodafone say will transform the UK with data speeds faster than the average home Wi-Fi.

Vodafone 5G Network

Vodafone has rolled out 5G in the following towns and cities: Ambleside, Bebington, Belfast, Birkenhead, Birmingham, Bootle, Bristol, Cardiff, Cheadle and Gatley, Droylsden, Eccles, Edinburgh, Glasgow, Horwich, Huyton-with-Roby, Isle of Scilly, Lancaster, Leeds, Liverpool, Llandudno, London, Manchester, Mangotsfield, Newbury, Paisley, Penarth, Plymouth, Prestwich, Rochdale, Salford, Solihull, Stockport, Stoke-on-Trent, Stretford, Wallasey, Warrington, Wolverhampton.

5G will then arrive in Blackpool, Bournemouth, Guildford, Portsmouth, Reading and Southampton later this year. With a continued rool out of the next few years.

What type of contract SIM only deals do Vodafone have?

Vodafone currently offer 30 day, 12 and 18 month contract SIM only plans:

• SIM only Red Plans - You get unlimited texts and calls. The amount of data you get can vary between 2Gb - 10Gb depending upon how much you want to spend.
• SIM only Red Plans with Entertainment - As with the Red Plan above you get Unlimited texts and calls. The data can vary between 10Gb and 20Gb. You also get your choice of entertainment including; Amazon Prime, Spotify Premium or Youtube Premium
• SIM only Unlimited Plans - These SIM only plans come with unlimited data, texts and calls. There are 3 types of Unlimited deals (Unlimited Max, Unlimited and Unlimited Lite), the difference is not the amount of data you get but the speed at which you can downloadcontent (video, films, music etc...). Vodafone offer some examples of how the speed varies.

Downloading a 3min (4MB) song takes on average:

• Unlimited Max - near instantly
• Unlimited - in around 3 seconds
• Unlimited Lite - in under 15 seconds

The recommended streaming quality for each plan is:

• Unlimited Max - ULTRA HD
• Unlimited - HD
• Unlimited Lite - NOT RECOMMENDED (Video might be slower to load, buffering may occur)
